Neon Genesis Evangelion End of Eva movie question?
I am not trolling, but I seriously do not understand why people say this film is a masterpiece. I don’t get it.
Why did Shinji strangled Asuka in the end? Does everyone die except them? What happened with Rei? or more importantly what is the true identity of Rei? She puzzles me.
What the hell happened with the classmates? Everything is so confusing
Also, what did Genbu say to Dr. (blonde girl) when he shot her? I know it is censored, but what could he have said that shocked her?

I have no idea dude. I watched it and the ending was just really stupid. I think everybody lived in the end, because Rei and Shinji saved them.
When Gendo shot Ritsuko, only three people know what he said: Gendo’s voice actor, Ritsuko’s voice actress, and the director. It’s a mystery. Sorry I couldn’t be of much help, but I really hate the ending!
